During a time of loss, choosing a resting place shouldn’t feel like a commercial compromise. Most entry-level pet urns are mass-produced overseas from fibreboard (MDF) and covered in plastic wood-grain stickers that degrade over time.

This memorial is different. It is machined, assembled, and finished directly at the bench in our Western Australian workshop using solid, sustainably sourced Glacial Oak. Featuring a clean, straw-coloured grain and a silky natural satin finish, it provides the undeniable weight, substance, and permanence that only real timber can offer.

Every single urn is constructed as a solid timber vault before being precision-separated on the saw. This workshop technique ensures that the grain lines and growth rings match up perfectly across the joins. When closed, the structures align with clean mechanical precision.

The front face of the urn serves as an integrated frame designed to hold a standard 6″ x 4″ (10x15cm) photograph. It accommodates both vertical or horizontal snapshots depending on how you choose to orientate the box—simply place your favourite image directly behind the protective glass pane.

🧲 Secure Hinged Door & Magnetic Closure

We do not use flimsy plastic latches or unsightly exterior hardware. Access to the photo rebate and internal cavity is built directly into the front face via a solid hinged door. Utilising heavy-duty, completely concealed brass barrel hinges and a dual-action network of rare-earth neodymium magnets, the face door snaps shut with a reassuring mechanical thud to keep your pet’s remains completely enclosed and safe.
