Ordering & Sizing

Do I need to transfer the ashes myself?
No. Our memorials are designed to accommodate the standard plastic liners and bags provided by Australian crematoriums. You simply place the sealed container directly into the timber housing. For specific measurements, please see our Sizing Guide.

What size do I need for my pet?
We offer four primary internal capacities: Mini (5kg), Small (12kg), Medium (30kg), and Large (60kg). Each size is carefully proportioned to house the ashes securely and respectfully.

Can you create a custom size?
Yes. Because every vessel is bench-built in our Maida Vale workshop, we can modify internal or external dimensions to suit specific requirements or non-standard liners. Please contact us to discuss the technical specifications.

Build Quality & Care

What finish is used on the timber?
We use professional-grade workshop finishes that protect the wood while highlighting the natural grain. Every vessel is finished with Whittle Waxes Evolution Hardwax Oil for structural durability and polished with Gilly’s Clear Carnauba Polish for a smooth, natural lustre. These are high-performance, non-toxic finishes.

How do I maintain the timber?
Solid timber is a natural material. To maintain the finish, simply wipe with a soft, dry cloth. The hardwax oil base is robust and moisture-resistant, but we recommend keeping the memorial away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources to prevent natural movement in the wood.

How long will my order take?
Most memorials are dispatched within 1–5 business days. As a workshop-direct business, we maintain a ready inventory of seasoned timber, allowing us to prioritize assembly and finishing as orders arrive. If a specific technical requirement or timber selection requires additional bench-time, we will notify you immediately.

Where do you ship?
We ship Australia-wide using secure, carbon-neutral carriers. All items are fully tracked to ensure safe delivery from our Maida Vale workshop to your door. Complimentary national shipping is included with every memorial.
