Description
The Large Wooden Pet Urn is our most substantial pet memorial, engineered in our Maida Vale workshop to provide a permanent, dignified tribute for companions up to 60kg. Each vessel is precision-milled from 12mm solid timber and individually numbered, ensuring a unique piece of master joinery that honours your pet’s memory.
The Karri Forest Presentation: Every memorial arrives with a signature Western Australian Karri forest insert, providing a beautiful aesthetic until you are ready to place a personal 6×4″ photograph.
Professional Engineering & Grain Flow
For our large memorials, we select the finest rack-seasoned Australian hardwoods to ensure structural integrity across the larger surface area. We utilise a continuous 360° grain wrap, where a single board is milled and joined so the timber’s natural figure flows uninterrupted around all four sides. This technical detail is a hallmark of artisan woodworking and ensures a superior finish.
Our signature magnetic closure system is integrated into the design to provide high-tensile security without external fasteners. This allows for easy, tool-free access while maintaining a clean, minimalist profile suitable for any indoor environment.
Capacity & Dimensions
This vessel is engineered for large breeds with a healthy weight of up to 60kg, such as Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and German Shepherds. For smaller companions, please view our Medium Pet Urn or Small Pet Urn.
Each vessel is hand-finished with hardwax oils and carnauba polish to achieve a natural satin lustre. To maintain the archival finish, wipe occasionally with a soft, dry lint-free cloth. Designed for permanent indoor display.
