Urn Sizing & Liner Compatibility
Selecting the correct urn sizing ensures your memorial is a permanent, dignified sanctuary. In Australia, crematoriums typically provide remains in a standard plastic Institutional Liner (often referred to as a “Regional Liner”).
A Heritage Vessel is specifically engineered to house these liners in their entirety. This design allows for a seamless transition into a solid timber memorial without the need for the sensitive process of transferring the remains between containers.
Technical Terms Explained:
- Institutional Liner: The standardized container provided by the crematorium (e.g., the Blue MCB liner in WA or Grey SA/ACT liners).
- Precision Fit: Our internal dimensions provide a millimetre-perfect clearance for these liners to be placed inside securely.
- Volume (Litres): The total internal space available for those not using a standard liner.
