The Heritage Traditional Urn is a permanent memorial designed for mechanical integrity. Milled in our Western Australian workshop, each vessel is constructed from 12mm solid, rack-seasoned timber to ensure structural stability without the use of veneers or MDF.

Heritage Joinery & Mechanical Integrity
Unlike mass-produced boxes, our Artisan Heritage Urns utilise precisely machined rebate joints. This provides a massive interlocking surface area where the side panels meet the external corner pillars, resisting the warping or “racking” common in inferior vessels. Hidden within the corner pillars are high-grade threaded timber inserts. We utilise machine screws to fasten the solid timber base plinth, ensuring the vessel can be opened and closed repeatedly for liner insertion without stripping the timber grain. This is the technical standard for high-end Australian timber urns.

National Fitment Guarantee
Precision internal fitment is vital for the transition of remains. This timber cremation urn is available in the Australian Standard size used nationally or the “longer and thinner” Perth variant for the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB). This ensures no decanting of ashes is required when using standard rigid liners. Please select your required fitment at checkout.
To maintain the finish, simply wipe occasionally with a soft, dry lint-free cloth. Milled from sustainable Australian Hardwoods.
