This Handcrafted Jarrah Urn from our Monolith Series (No. 26) represents the pinnacle of A Cut Above Woodworking’s commitment to archival craftsmanship. Designed as a timeless vessel for remembrance, each piece is individually numbered and handcrafted in our Maida Vale workshop.

Materials & Provenance

• Primary Timber: Sustainably sourced Western Australian Jarrah, selected for its deep tonal warmth and structural density.

• Accents: A precision-fitted Australian Oak internal sleeve, providing a clean, modern contrast to the rich Jarrah exterior.

• The Finish: Each Monolith is hand-burnished with multiple coats of Carnauba wax, creating a soft, tactile luster that protects the timber for generations without the “plastic” look of modern lacquers.

Inspired by the strength of ancient monuments, the Monolith features a minimalist, seamless silhouette. The hidden joinery ensures the focus remains on the natural grain of the timber, making each piece a unique work of natural art.
